  • CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS! Looking for a new way to get involved with Project Knitwell? We are looking for in-person volunteers for two of our programs. If you are interested in either opportunity, please contact Jenn Benecke at
    • The USO Wounded Warrior and Family Center at Fort Belvoir will be meeting every other Monday night from 7pm – 8pm starting on August 8.
    • We are also looking for volunteers in the fall/winter to help with the group of Afghan refugees at CCDA. This group meets every other Friday during the mornings in Arlington. There is also a new site forming (time and day TBD) at the Woodbridge location.
  • Note that some of our program sites require special training and security clearances. Please do not show up to a volunteer project without first confirming the assignment with Jenn.
