Project Knitwell has been invited to participate in two alternative giving fairs: on December 2 in Takoma Park, MD, and on December 9 in Arlington, VA.
At both gift fairs, shoppers will have an opportunity to support Project Knitwell and other non-profits. Working from shopping lists provided by the non-profits, shoppers make donations to support a specific service or item, and can then in turn, “gift” that item to someone on their holiday shopping list. Both fairs are kid-friendly and will include an opportunity for children to “purchase” items for gifting.
Hope to see you at the fair! Or if you can’t make it, check out the websites to see how you can purchase gifts in support of area non-profits on line.
