Project Knitwell and One More Page Books are pleased to host author Ann Hood on Saturday October 28 at 2 pm for a conversation about the comfort of knitting, reading, writing, and more.
Ann Hood is the author of The Knitting Circle, Knitting Yarns, Knitting Pearls, and many other fiction and non-fiction titles. She has written extensively about the comfort and inspiration that both knitting and books can provide. In Comfort, a Journey through Grief, a memoir about the sudden death of her five year old daughter Grace, Hood writes: “Knitting saved my life.”
She will read from her new release, Morningstar, and be available for a book signing.
The event will be held at 2200 N. Westmoreland St., #101 , Arlington, VA – in the Westlee, one floor up from One More Page.
Free and open to the public! Knitting during the event encouraged!
