This year on October 10th, participants enjoyed Yoga and Yarn in Alexandria. The successful fund-raiser added to Project Knitwell’s ability to provide materials and patterns to clients. And, a good time was had by all!
Project Knitwell held its first Yarn over Yoga fundraiser at Pengu Studios in McLean on Saturday, October 25. We relaxed over yoga and knitting, made some new friends, and raised funds that will enable us to offer programming at new sites. Look for more Yarn Over Yoga at other locations in the DC area in the months to come.

Thank you Uniquities for inviting Project Knitwell to participate in the March 22 Fiber Farmers Market! We raised funds through our bake sale, caught up with some of the folks we taught to knit, met some future volunteers, and pet some really wonderful yarn!
